Professional development conference photography

It was a pleasure to photograph this IPDA England Conference which took place at the University of Wolverhampton. We were there to capture the several insightful keynotes, delegate paper presentations and a few creative workshops. We’re always trying to catch a bit of everything – the keynote portraits, a shot or two of each presenter to document their contribution, delegate interactions and reactions, as well as some smiles and quirky shots. Some photos just document the day, others can become hero images for a website or marketing campaign.

Hybrid coverage of company conference and sports day

The Tara Group gathered all employees of their three companies together, several hundred people for a large company away day, with business updates and a fun sports day. We produced a video (for internal distribution), plus a lovely set of photos to document the day.

Photos and videos showcase highlights from psychology conference

We were delighted to be invited once again to provide photography and video coverage for the BPS Coaching Psychology Conference 2025. This year’s event offered an inspiring mix of speakers, sessions, and networking opportunities, all of which we captured through a comprehensive set of images designed to both document the conference and support the promotion of future events. In addition to the photography, we produced three bespoke videos, each with a distinct focus — highlighting key moments, insights from the theme and a focus on inclusivity for upcoming inclusion week. These videos were created to engage members, showcase the impact of the event, and help promote upcoming conferences and initiatives.

Photography to document Founders day event

This company fun day celebrates the late founder, bringing employees and their families together each year. We were there to capture some photos of the various activities. They were also celebrating having donated £1,000,000 through their foundation so huge congratulations for that achievement.

Capturing careers event for construction company

The Tara Group held their second ‘Insights Day’ for students from local schools to come and learn about the paths into the construction industry. With lots of activities to keep them engaged, including a stacking cup challenge and filming a video, we were able to capture all of the action, including a video with teachers and lots of photos.

Documenting the 50th anniversary of CIDT

It was great to be able to attend the 50th anniversary celebration of the fantastic Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT) to capture some photos and record the presentations made. With networking, visits from former colleagues and special guest speaker Nikhil Seth, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General. You can view all of the photos here, plus check out the CIDT website for the full write-up of the event and the videos.

Construction Site photography for groundworks company

We visited a couple of groundworks construction sites to capture some candid photography for Chasetown Civil Engineering. We aren’t often plodding through thick mud in big, heavy boots, but it certainly beats sitting in front of a computer screen. The resulting photos capture the range of activities that take place on these projects, giving the team a set of photos useful for branding, social media and printed materials.

Careers day gives insight into working in construction

The Tara Group held this ‘Insights Day’ to give local schoolchildren a look into the different careers available in the construction industry. With several fun activities going on, including building a tower from spaghetti and marshmallows, creating a Tik Tok video and an escape box puzzle, there was a lot to capture. We delivered a great set of photos along with a short video showing clips from the day for social media.

Documenting the launch of a sensory garden

This amazing sensory garden was created by the Noel Sweeney Foundation at Sense Touchbase Pears in Birmingham. At the official launch, to guests including the Sweeney family and key members of the charity, we were there to capture some photos and video to document the occasion, pulling together the following video to tell the story of the project.

Behind the scenes of a BBC Countryfile episode

The team from BBC Countryfile came to a 10-hectare piece of land owned by Dragonfly Habitat Bank for a feature around Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG). We were there to take some behind-the-scenes photos and video clips. The sun even popped out for a while.
